Unit Plan
Hypothetical Class: 12th grade ballet class both boys and girls in the class. Since this is a private dance studio with mirrors on the wall and barres attached to the wall, everyone has years of training, are very familiar with ballet and have proper training backgrounds. Girls should wear leotards and pink tights with hair tied back tight, boys should wear white shirt and black shorts. There is only one teacher in the dance room with 15 kids. Tasks will include ballet vocabulary with a verbal and physical assessment/demonstration at the end of this unit, other tasks will consist of basic barre and floor work and then will gradually get more advanced. Assessment: full participation during the entire class with proper attire=getting 100% for the day.
